MACKEREL FILLETS. ARTISAN PRODUCTION. The mackerel is hand filleted and individually packed by skilled local labour in Ayamonte, a traditional fishing village in Andalusia. Most of them are women, with generations of the same family working alongside another.
NO ADDITIVES OR CHEMICALS, NO DYES OR PRESERVATIVES. Pesasur does not use additives, chemicals, dyes or preservatives at any time during the manufacturing process of this product.
NO FARMED FISH.
P.G.I. (PROTECTED GEOGRAPHICAL INDICATION) QUALITY LABEL. This product has been made following a traditional and artisan style using fish from the Andalusia coast. Did you know? MACKEREL is known locally as “CABALLA DE ANDALUSIA”.
A GREAT SOURCE OF PROTEIN, IRON, OMEGA-3 AND HEALTHY NUTRIENTS. Mackerel has a high level of beneficial Omega 3 fatty acids, vitamins A, B and D. It is very rich in minerals and great source of protein and iron.

The mackerel and frigate tuna preserves that bear the stamp of the Regulatory Council on their jars and tins are products of guaranteed quality and are also backed by the Andalusian Regional Government’s Certified Quality Mark. They are unique, since they are the only designations of their kind in Spain.
