100% GOAT’S CHEESE SEMI-HARD ("SEMICURADO") from El Andévalo and Sierra de Huelva mountainous region of Huelva province, in south western Spain.
Our goats graze on the mountains of El Andévalo and Sierra de Huelva , sleeping under holm oaks and climbing up the highest crags. Their diet is based on plants and bushes native to our area, such as arbutus, rockrose, brooms, gorse, thyme, rosemary, pennyroyal, laurel, mint, etc. That is, an endless amount of delicious and aromatic plants that permeates the milk they produce and therefore, the flavour cheese.
Our goat breeds are all native to our region: Blancas Andaluzas, Floridas Sevillanas, Grandinas and Malagueñas. These hardy goats have provided milk to Andalusia for generations.
